BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE, Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology. The Department of Psychology at Colby College invites applications for a one-year, full-time position in Behavioral Neuroscience to begin September 1, 2021, with the possibility of successive appointments for up to three years. Teaching responsibilities for this position include introductory and advanced courses in the candidate’s area of training, participation in a team-taught introduction to psychology course, and supervision of student independent research. The specific area of research is open and we are especially interested in candidates who conduct research using rat models. The successful candidate will have use of our state-of-the art vivarium, laboratory spaces and equipment, along with financial support for research including paid student research assistants and a full-time lab and research coordinator.
