The Group Identity and Social Perception (GISP; http://gisp.la.psu.edu ) Lab in the Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking applications for a full-time Lab Manger to begin July 15, 2020, though slightly earlier or later is possible. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility for extension.
The Lab Manager will coordinate with project staff to help carry out a data-intensive, longitudinal experimental study examining identity processes involved in retention and attrition of Ph.D. students in STEM fields, as well as other studies being conducted in the lab. The Lab Manager will organize and monitor data collection, supervise undergraduate research assistants, and provide ongoing support to staff and participants (e.g., communicating with study participants, managing participant payments).
