The Principal Researcher - CDR Mindworks role is designed to support a talented behavioral scientist in generating significant research contributions to behavioral science disciplines (e.g., psychology, economics). The primary duty of the Principal Researcher will be to conduct this research both independently and in collaboration with Booth Faculty in the Roman Family Center for Decision Research (CDR), with particular encouragement to advance high-quality, cutting-edge experimental research. Accordingly, this position demonstrates an outstanding capacity to generate original research questions and implement studies to investigate those questions in unique experimental settings (e.g., companies, public spaces, museums). This Principal Researcher will dedicate 20% of their time as Chief Scientist at Mindworks: The Science of Thinking . This position is anticipated to last two years.

Postdoc position in psychology: Modeling social cognition
The successful candidate will conduct research in social cognition applying mathematical modeling to understand judgments and decisions in the realms of stereotyping and prejudice. The successful candidate will work on and contribute to scientific publications in leading journals of the field. The successful candidate will join a team doing research in various fields, including social cognition, memory, reasoning and thinking, often using mathematical models to leverage conclusions about latent factors underlying behavior in these domains. The position is financed by a research grant for a social-cognitive project and is limited to the project duration of three years (36 months).
