The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence seeks a full-time postdoctoral research associate to join the Emotion Revolution in the Workplace research team (PIs: Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle & Dr. Marc Brackett). The primary objectives of this project are to develop and test a new measure of emotionally intelligent behavior in school leaders. Previous research has shown that leader emotionally intelligent behavior is related to employees’ emotional experiences at work, as well as their work behavior and achievement. In the present project, we seek to expend this research by developing a multidimensional measure and test the role of leader emotionally intelligent behavior for employee outcomes in educational settings. CLINICAL RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST The Department of Veterans Affairs is accepting applications for a licensed psychologist to lead the Clinical Science Core of the VISN 17 Center of Excellence for Research on Returning War Veterans. The psychologist will serve as a senior leader of the Center, overseeing a team of researchers, technicians, and support staff. They will also supervise and conduct research projects either as a principal investigator or research collaborator in topics related to psychological factors associated with mental illnesses in Veterans and their treatment.
