We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow (2-3 years) to work on an NIH-funded project with Drs. Renee Thompson and Tammy English (Co-PIs) along with Todd Braver (Co-I) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. The project (R01AG070139) examines the role of motivation and depressive psychopathology in age-related changes in emotion and emotion regulation across adulthood. The multi-method project utilizes diagnostic interviews, experience sampling, behavioral measures, peripheral psychophysiology assessment, neuroimaging, and blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer’s Disorder risk. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time, visiting assistant professor, for the 2023-24 academic year, with the potential for renewal.  The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in clinical, social, or developmental psychology.  Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered.
