Postdoctoral Research Scholar,  Arizona State University, Department of Psychology  The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to join the Quantitative Psychology area under the supervision of Dr. Daniel McNeish.   Project Description   The position is to work on a grant-funded project related to dynamic fit index (DFI) cutoffs for assessing model in fit latent variable models. Traditional fit index cutoffs (e.g., RMSEA < .06, CFI > .95) have been found to generalize poorly to models with different characteristics, so the goal of the project is to continue developing DFI cutoffs to provide researchers with accessible tools that produce customized cutoffs based on the user’s fitted model.  The DFI method has been worked out for confirmatory factor analysis with continuous outcomes and the grant aims to extend the idea to a broader range of models and outcome types (e.g., categorical items,...
