We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow (2-3 years) to work on an NIH-funded project with Drs. Renee Thompson and Tammy English (Co-PIs) along with Todd Braver (Co-I) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. The project (R01AG070139) examines the role of motivation and depressive psychopathology in age-related changes in emotion and emotion regulation across adulthood. The multi-method project utilizes diagnostic interviews, experience sampling, behavioral measures, peripheral psychophysiology assessment, neuroimaging, and blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer’s Disorder risk. The Principal Researcher - CDR Mindworks role is designed to support a talented behavioral scientist in generating significant research contributions to behavioral science disciplines (e.g., psychology, economics). The primary duty of the Principal Researcher will be to conduct this research both independently and in collaboration with Booth Faculty in the Roman Family Center for Decision Research (CDR), with particular encouragement to advance high-quality, cutting-edge experimental research. Accordingly, this position demonstrates an outstanding capacity to generate original research questions and implement studies to investigate those questions in unique experimental settings (e.g., companies, public spaces, museums).
