The Monell Chemical Senses Center is a nonprofit, basic research institute dedicated to the study of taste, smell, chemesthesis, and appetite. Founded in 1968, the Center is located near the campuses of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University in Philadelphia. Research focuses on understanding how the chemical senses function and their importance in everyday life. Dr. Carol M. Christensen, Alumnus Member and Consultant to the Director at Monell, has endowed a full-time postdoctoral position in human chemosensory science (human neuroscience, learning, emotion, decision-making, as well as other human-based research in taste and smell). Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology
Chatham University's Social Sciences Department has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology in the undergraduate psychology program starting in the 2023-2024 academic year. The position will be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor. The rank of Associate Professor may be considered for the right candidate. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for teaching six courses each academic year (3-3).
