The Program Coordinator position is essential to the mission of maintaining a $2.4M National Institute of Health (NIH) undergraduate research training grant. The position combines mentoring and administrative duties and will directly support the principal investigators of the grant. The Program Coordinator will independently manage and monitor placement of 12 student trainees per year in the appropriate academic year and summer program training positions. The position will be responsible for human resources administration by interviewing, hiring and maintaining payroll processes for student trainees; including onboarding, training and verifying/approving timesheets. Position Description The Psychology Department at Yale University is looking to hire a lecturer with an initial 1-year appointment beginning Sept. 1, 2022. The goal of this position is to teach history of psychology with a focus on racism and colonial power embedded in psychology and the psychological sciences more broadly.  We envision that these courses will allow graduate and undergraduate students to not only learn about, but also think critically about the racist, sexist, and classist past and present of psychology and the ways in which such systems of power interact with their own research practices.
