The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence seeks a full-time postdoctoral research associate to join the Emotion Revolution in the Workplace research team (PIs: Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle & Dr. Marc Brackett). The primary objectives of this project are to develop and test a new measure of emotionally intelligent behavior in school leaders. Previous research has shown that leader emotionally intelligent behavior is related to employees’ emotional experiences at work, as well as their work behavior and achievement. In the present project, we seek to expend this research by developing a multidimensional measure and test the role of leader emotionally intelligent behavior for employee outcomes in educational settings. The MIDUS Affective Neuroscience Project team led by Dr. Stacey M. Schaefer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Institute on Aging is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to analyze and publish on data from the national longitudinal Midlife in the US study. MIDUS is an NIA-supported study on aging explicitly focused on all the adult years (25-100+) with multiple longitudinal timepoints over the past +20 years. The Monell Chemical Senses Center is a nonprofit, basic research institute dedicated to the study of taste, smell, chemesthesis, and appetite. Founded in 1968, the Center is located near the campuses of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University in Philadelphia. Research focuses on understanding how the chemical senses function and their importance in everyday life. Dr. Carol M. Christensen, Alumnus Member and Consultant to the Director at Monell, has endowed a full-time postdoctoral position in human chemosensory science (human neuroscience, learning, emotion, decision-making, as well as other human-based research in taste and smell).
