The Department of Psychology at Murray State University seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2021.  Candidates must be able to teach courses in biopsychology and must provide evidence of excellence in teaching, the ability to establish an active research program, and the interest and ability to involve undergraduate and master’s level graduate students in their research as well as direct undergraduate research projects and graduate theses.  Candidates must have a PhD in Psychology.  The PhD must be completed by time of appointment.  ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who can make use of our departmental psychophysiology research lab that currently includes multichannel systems that can handle bioelectrical signals (e.g. heart rate, EEG, EMG, skin conductance, etc.) as well as bioamplifiers for electroencephalography, electromyography, and electrooculography....
