UNT   Department of Psychology has a postdoctoral research fellowship opening. This person will join a team of researchers conducting multi-disciplinary research in the area of alcohol and substance abuse. We are conducting a diverse array of translational substance abuse research projects ranging from adolescent longitudinal development of substance use involvement to adult alcohol treatment outcome research in a criminal justice setting. Individualized competency facilitation is achieved through project-based research activity, along with a curriculum of professional development to prepare the learner for new roles and responsibilities. Key accomplishments include increasing competency in: manuscript writing and presenting, grant writing, and project management.
