The Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor beginning Fall 2020. We seek an individual with an open area of specialization. The Psychology Department invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position (PhD or ABD required), beginning July 1, 2020. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience at the college level. Area of research is open, but applicants with a background in neuroscience are particularly encouraged to apply. The teaching load will be the equivalent of five courses per year, including some combination of service courses (Introductory Psychology, Statistics, or Research Design), courses in the candidate’s specialty area, and supervision of senior research projects. Position Summary The Department of Psychology at   SUNY   Geneseo is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with an emphasis in cognitive and affective neuroscience to begin August, 2020. The department is particularly interested in candidates who would teach courses to meet department needs and bring scholarly expertise that complements the expertise of other faculty members in the department. Among the goals of the search is increasing the diversity of the faculty in the Department of Psychology, and we therefore welcome applicants who are from groups that are historically underrepresented at the College.
