UNT   Department of Psychology has a postdoctoral research fellowship opening. This person will join a team of researchers conducting multi-disciplinary research in the area of alcohol and substance abuse. We are conducting a diverse array of translational substance abuse research projects ranging from adolescent longitudinal development of substance use involvement to adult alcohol treatment outcome research in a criminal justice setting. Individualized competency facilitation is achieved through project-based research activity, along with a curriculum of professional development to prepare the learner for new roles and responsibilities. The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine is hiring a full-time postdoctoral researcher with training in social science, health policy, public health, epidemiology, or related field to work on an NIH-funded study examining the social, clinical, and ethical implications of using polygenic risk scores in child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as other studies exploring ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomics. The postdoctoral researcher will be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers led by Stacey Pereira, PhD; Eric A. Storch, PhD; and Gabriel Lázaro-Muñoz, PhD, JD (Harvard).
