Renee Thompson and Tammy English (Co-PIs) along with Todd Braver (Co-I) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. The project (R01AG070139) examines the role of motivation and depressive psychopathology in age-related changes in emotion and emotion regulation across adulthood. The multi-method project utilizes diagnostic interviews, experience sampling, behavioral measures, peripheral psychophysiology assessment, neuroimaging, and blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer’s Disorder risk. The Principal Researcher - CDR Mindworks role is designed to support a talented behavioral scientist in generating significant research contributions to behavioral science disciplines (e.g., psychology, economics). The primary duty of the Principal Researcher will be to conduct this research both independently and in collaboration with Booth Faculty in the Roman Family Center for Decision Research (CDR), with particular encouragement to advance high-quality, cutting-edge experimental research. Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a position on a study to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools for assessment of PTSD and related psychopathology. It aims to recruit 1,000 participants with clinical PTSD symptoms to complete daily video diary and standard symptom assessments for 3 months. These data are unprecedent in mental health research, allowing investigation of hypotheses that were previous untestable.
