The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine is hiring a full-time postdoctoral researcher with training in social science, health policy, public health, epidemiology, or related field to work on an NIH-funded study examining the social, clinical, and ethical implications of using polygenic risk scores in child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as other studies exploring ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genomics. The postdoctoral researcher will be part of an interdisciplinary team of researchers led by Stacey Pereira, PhD; Eric A. Storch, PhD; and Gabriel Lázaro-Muñoz, PhD, JD (Harvard). The Department of Psychology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY (https://psychology.as.uky.edu/) invites applications for a two-year teaching postdoctoral scholar position to begin August 1, 2022. The primary responsibility of the position is to teach three undergraduate courses per semester. The specific courses to be taught will be chosen based on three considerations: the candidate’s areas of expertise, the candidate’s needs as a postdoctoral scholar to develop a range of teaching preparations, and departmental needs. Although most courses will be taught in-person, the candidate might be asked to teach one or more courses on-line.
