The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time, visiting assistant professor, for the 2023-24 academic year, with the potential for renewal.  The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in clinical, social, or developmental psychology. Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester and will include survey-level and speciality courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, in addition to courses such as General Psychology, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, and Research Methods.     The Department consists of 12 full-time faculty representing a range of specialties and is housed in a spacious, well-equipped facility in the Bannow Science Center.
