The Institute for Health, HealthCare Policy, and Aging Research at Rutgers University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on multiple behavioral medicine research projects. These projects examine the intersection of psychosocial processes and health and healthcare outcomes, to support future intervention development. Population of focus will primarily be patients with cancer, with an emphasis on patient coping, treatment decision-making, quality of life, and end-of-life care among patients with advanced disease. Related projects may include examinations of oncologist behavior, caregiver impact, and use of claims data.
The fellowship offers the opportunity to build expertise and receive advanced training in psycho-oncology, behavioral health, supportive/palliative care, and health service research.
