The Reed College Psychology Department seeks applicants for a two-year assistant professor position in HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY to begin August 2025. We recognize that health psychology incorporates scholars from a variety of disciplines, and we welcome candidates with experience conducting laboratory-based research. The selected individual will teach four courses (two each semester), including a team-taught introductory psychology course with a lab, a core course in health psychology with lab, and lower and upper level seminars that include neuroscience-related content. In addition, the person will supervise multiple year-long senior thesis projects. In the second year, academic advising will also be expected. Candidates must have their Ph.D. at the time of employment.
