The University at Buffalo Division of Behavioral Medicine (Department of Medicine) is seeking applications for a two-year clinical-research postdoctoral fellowship position to support an NIH clinical trial focused on the efficacy of a novel home-based treatment for chronic pain. The ideal candidate should have completed their doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology by the start of employment as well as having strong oral and written communication skills, and training in cognitive-behavior therapy . The position is 50% clinical work and 50% assisting in the administrative leadership of the study and other activities.  Because of the vital role of this position, s/he should have strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail required for a randomized controlled trial and an ability to interact and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and psychologists.
