The Department of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in the area of health, broadly defined, particularly as health intersects with diversity and inequality, including social determinants of health disparities (e.g., poverty, unequal access to care, racism). We welcome applicants from any sub discipline in psychology. The position begins August 2021.  A Ph.D. or Psy.D. is required, although ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2021 will be considered. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellence in instruction with teaching interests in Health Psychology and an interest in collaborating with colleagues to develop a diversity-based psychology course as part of a multidisciplinary certificate for the new university general education curriculum. AMITA Health is recruiting for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric and health psychology. The Pediatric and Health Psychology Fellow is primarily located in the AMITA Women & Children’s Hospital and St. Alexius Medical Center . A total of 3 days per week is spent in pre-determined clinical services. Pediatric health psychology training encompasses time in Pediatric Specialty Care Clinics, which includes pediatric endocrinology and pediatric neurology, and Pediatric Inpatient C/L Services.
