The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ, has two openings for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor, starting September 1, 2022. These are non-tenure track annual renewable appointments with a workload of six courses per year (3 per semester) and carries the possibility for a three-year renewable contract after the first year of appointment. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and experience teaching large college classes. Position Description The Psychology Department at Yale University is looking to hire a lecturer with an initial 1-year appointment beginning Sept. 1, 2022. Traditional fit index cutoffs (e.g., RMSEA < .06, CFI > .95) have been found to generalize poorly to models with different characteristics, so the goal of the project is to continue developing DFI cutoffs to provide researchers with accessible tools that produce customized cutoffs based on the user’s fitted model.  The DFI method has been worked out for confirmatory factor analysis with continuous outcomes and the grant aims to extend the idea to a broader range of models and outcome types (e.g., categorical items,...
