Postdoctoral Research Associate
Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University Position Summary Seeking to hire one or two postdoctoral researchers to collaborate with me across two grants on preschool children’s mathematical language development. One project is a National Science Foundation funded grant evaluating the impacts of mathematical language instruction on mathematics and spatial skills in preschool children. The other project is the final stages of evaluating a parent implemented mathematical language intervention for monolingual English speakers and dual language learners. The positions have the potential to be for up to two or three years depending on performance.   Responsibilities may include: intervention development, manuscript preparation, project management, presentation of findings, development of coding schemes for video and audio recordings, and development and implementation of dissemination events for families and schools. Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology, tenure-track
Roanoke College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in the area of Cognitive Psychology at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August of 2020 (Ph.D. required by start date). The position consists of teaching undergraduate courses (3/3 load with one additional intensive learning course every three years), publishing research, and participating in college service. Applicants must be willing and able to teach several courses in their area (i.e., intro-level, upper-level, and/or applied cognition courses), to teach some core psychology courses (e.g. Intro, Research Methods, History of Psychology), and to contribute to Roanoke’s general education program. NEUROSCIENCE, Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychology. The Department of Psychology at Colby College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Neuroscience to begin September 1, 2020. We believe the best way to learn the science of psychology is by engaging our faculty and students in a collaborative search for new knowledge about human cognition, emotion, and behavior. To this end, we have a unique curriculum that engages students in research at all levels.  The successful candidate will be expected to establish an active and sustained program of research that contributes to the global effort to advance psychological knowledge, to involve Colby’s exceptional undergraduates in that research, to become an active and engaged member of our academic community, and to teach with passion and a commitment to excellence.
