The Psychology Department at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time, visiting assistant professor position for the 2021-2022 academic year. While the area of expertise is open, we are specifically interested in candidates with teaching expertise and/or scholarly interests in social psychology, health psychology, and/or cultural psychology. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Applicants are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but ABD candidates will also be considered. This appointment is contingent upon final budgetary approval. The teaching load is four courses each semester, including courses such as health psychology, cultural psychology, social psychology, psychological statistics, research methods, and general psychology.
