The project (R01AG070139) examines the role of motivation and depressive psychopathology in age-related changes in emotion and emotion regulation across adulthood. The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ, has two openings for the position of Assistant Teaching Professor, starting September 1, 2022. These are non-tenure track annual renewable appointments with a workload of six courses per year (3 per semester) and carries the possibility for a three-year renewable contract after the first year of appointment. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and experience teaching large college classes. We are looking for instructors to teach courses in either behavioral neuroscience (physiological psychology, learning processes, neuropsychology) or clinical psychology (abnormal, personality). Position Description The Psychology Department at Yale University is looking to hire a lecturer with an initial 1-year appointment beginning Sept. 1, 2022. The goal of this position is to teach history of psychology with a focus on racism and colonial power embedded in psychology and the psychological sciences more broadly.  We envision that these courses will allow graduate and undergraduate students to not only learn about, but also think critically about the racist, sexist, and classist past and present of psychology and the ways in which such systems of power interact with their own research practices.
