Claremont McKenna College invites applications for a visiting one-year position in Psychological Science to begin on July 1, 2022. The successful applicant will teach 5 undergraduate courses over the course of a two-semester academic year. The applicant will likely teach 3 Introduction to Psychology classes, may teach a lower-level class in their area of specialization, and possibly an upper-level class in their area of expertise. Typical class size is 19 students. The applicant may also be asked to supervise a small number of senior psychology students’ independent research projects. We seek candidates who are excellent teachers and capable of demonstrating competence and sensitivity in working in a college in which students are broadly diverse with regard to gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, religion and political viewpoint.
