Visiting Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Wesleyan University invites applications for a visiting faculty position at the assistant professor level in clinical psychology. The appointment is for one year, although it may become renewable for a second year depending on department needs and based on performance. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience. The visitor course load is five courses per academic year. Responsibilities include teaching an upper-level seminar in the candidate's area of expertise, a survey course on psychopathology or related area (e.g., interventions, adult or child psychopathology, personality), introductory psychology, research methods, and a small seminar for first-year students.   POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE – Next Generation Screening of Maternal Mental Health Posting Date: February 15th 2021   The Health-Omics & Perinatal Epidemiology (HOPE) Research Group at the Yale Child Study Center seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to develop Next Generation Screening approaches to identify and support pregnant people at risk for adverse mental health outcomes.   This project focuses on implementing passive data capture within an existing, longitudinal pregnancy cohort to identify digital phenotypes that better predict mental health outcomes. A second objective of this project is to integrate digital and biological phenotypes (e.g., genomics/epigenomics) in prediction models of maternal mental health and evaluate their performance versus conventional models based on questionnaire data alone. The Autism Biomarkers Consortium for Clinical Trials (ABC-CT) seeks a highly qualified post-doctoral associate to participate in cutting-edge clinical research on autism spectrum disorder at the Yale Child Study Center. The ABC-CT is a network of leading scientists at five sites (Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard University, University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Research Institute, Duke University, University of California – Los Angeles, and Yale University). The goal of this consortium is to generate a set of reliable behavioral and psychophysiological tools for use in clinical trials with children with ASD.
