Psychiatry Research   The University of Chicago’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for tenured or tenure track faculty members to join our interdisciplinary faculty. We seek applicants pursuing research that complements existing programs in addictions, serious mental illness, psychiatric genetics, eating disorders, developmental psychopathology, and health disparities. Our faculty conduct innovative basic, translational, and clinical research and secure high levels of NIH grant funding. We especially welcome applications from basic, translational, and applied clinical scientists who have demonstrated the capacity for, or success in, conducting impactful science, publishing research of high quality, and competing for external funding. The College at the University of Chicago is now accepting applications for four-year postdoctoral teaching appointments as Harper and Schmidt Fellows who hold the rank of Collegiate Assistant Professor. Collegiate Assistant Professors are members of the College Faculty whose primary professional responsibility is to teach in the general education (Core) program. Core courses in the Humanities typically deal with fundamental issues and texts in history, philosophy, and literature.
