The Center for Clinical Outcomes Development and Application (CODA) at the University of Michigan ( https://coda.med.umich.edu/ ) aims to achieve excellence in measurement development, selection and application to improve clinical health research and care. CODA, directed by Dr. Noelle Carlozzi, provides expert consultation for measurement selection and application to evaluate clinical questions and interventions; develops new state-of-the art methods that maximize measurement validity, precision, sensitivity, efficiency and clinical relevance; and utilizes novel measurement systems and strategies to inform the creation and refinement of interventions to improve the health-related quality of life of those we care for.
