AMITA Health is recruiting for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric and health psychology. The Pediatric and Health Psychology Fellow is primarily located in the AMITA Women & Children’s Hospital and St. Alexius Medical Center . A total of 3 days per week is spent in pre-determined clinical services. Pediatric health psychology training encompasses time in Pediatric Specialty Care Clinics, which includes pediatric endocrinology and pediatric neurology, and Pediatric Inpatient C/L Services. Training in adult health psychology will be obtained through clinical work with the AMITA Healthy Sleep Initiative, conducting pre-surgical evaluations for candidates for bariatric surgery, and providing occasional adult inpatient C/L services.     The Fellow is embedded primarily within outpatient pediatric specialty endocrinology and neurology clinics, although opportunities for work with other specialties such as cardiology and pulmonology are available.
