Director, Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis New York University Arts and Science The NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis is an innovative, dynamic, internationally renowned psychoanalytic training program, located within a preeminent research university. Founded in 1961, Postdoc has among its faculty a diverse group of leading psychoanalytic scholars and clinicians. They have special interests in a multiplicity of theoretical orientations, and the curriculum is organized into Contemporary Freudian, Independent, Interpersonal-Humanistic, and Relational tracks to consider their various views. The Program has 143 teaching faculty, 150 clinical consultants, 121 candidates, and approximately 625 graduates.
