Visiting Assistant Professor Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, Indiana University-Bloomington We seek to fill one position for a visiting assistant professor to teach undergraduate courses in the area of either Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or Neuroscience. The candidate may also contribute to general courses in our psychology or neuroscience majors, such as introductory psychology, experimental methods, and statistics. This will be a 1-year appointment, renewable for one additional year. The teaching load is five courses per year. Candidates with a doctorate in psychology or related field in hand at the time of appointment are preferred, but those who have completed all degree requirements except the dissertation defense (i.e., ABDs) will be considered. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences seeks to fill a   full-time non-tenure track Lecturer   position whose responsibilities will consistent primarily of undergraduate teaching in the area of cognitive psychology, including candidates at the intersection of cognitive psychology and other subdisciplines (e.g., neuroscience, social psychology, etc.). We especially welcome candidates who add diversity to the department, are excited about pedagogy, committed to evidence-based teaching and innovative methods, and could also provide instruction for some core courses such as introductory psychology, research methods and statistics.
