The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence seeks a full-time postdoctoral research associate to join the Emotion Revolution in the Workplace research team (PIs: Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle & Dr. Marc Brackett). The primary objectives of this project are to develop and test a new measure of emotionally intelligent behavior in school leaders. Previous research has shown that leader emotionally intelligent behavior is related to employees’ emotional experiences at work, as well as their work behavior and achievement. In the present project, we seek to expend this research by developing a multidimensional measure and test the role of leader emotionally intelligent behavior for employee outcomes in educational settings. Founded in 1968, the Center is located near the campuses of the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University in Philadelphia.
