The Gupta College of Science at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology positions to begin August, 2024. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related area of specialization by time of appointment, with a strong commitment to undergraduate education, mentoring student research, and advising. The successful candidate will be expected to teach some combination of research methods, psychological statistics, and upper-level courses in areas related to psychopathology, assessment, and approaches to psychotherapy. We are particularly interested in applicants who will develop an active research program that includes both the mentoring of student research assistants and the potential for external funding. General Description: The staff position is in the Women’s Health Sciences Division (WHSD), National Center for PTSD, at the Jamaica Plain campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System. The Deputy Director will manage day-to-day operations of the Division including direct supervision for all Division staff including clinical psychologists, research health scientists, postdoctoral fellows, administrative staff, and research technicians. They will work directly with staff to outline immediate and long-term aims for research programs. The Deputy Director will conduct scientific investigations and contribute to both generation and dissemination of knowledge in support of the research and educational missions of the National Center for PTSD.
