Postdoctoral Research Opportunity – Northwestern Juvenile Project
The Health Disparities and Public Policy program in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will work with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Linda Teplin, and Co-Investigators, Drs. Karen Abram , Leah Welty , and Sara Thomas , on three projects: (1) the Northwestern Juvenile Project, a 30-year longitudinal study of health needs and outcomes of 1829 youth in juvenile detention; (2) Next Generation, an intergenerational component added to the Northwestern Juvenile Project, which examines intergenerational patterns in substance use disorders, delinquency and firearm involvement, as well as the effects of parents’ incarceration on children; and (3) a newly-funded extension of the Northwestern Juvenile Project that will examine the...
