Job Description: The Department of Psychology at Binghamton University, State University of New York invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Cognitive Neuroscience to start Fall 2023. The committee is interested in candidates using cognitive neuroscience approaches to study cognitive processes such as learning, memory, language, categorization, attention, or perception. We are especially interested in candidates who apply neuroimaging techniques (e.g., fMRI and EEG) to add to or complement existing strengths in the department. Additional research approaches such as computational modeling are also of interest to the committee. As part of an international research project on developing effective interventions to counter false information in India, the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate, who will work on a project that enables information literacy and resilience to false information online. Specifically, the candidate will work on the development and testing of a series of instruments aimed at reducing susceptibility to and sharing of false information on social media in India.
