The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University invites applications for a two-year post-doctoral scholar position. The post-doctoral scholar will work with Dr. Mary Murphy and her graduate and undergraduate students on new and existing grant-funded projects aimed at understanding the role of identity and group membership in shaping academic, behavioral, and well-being outcomes. The postdoctoral fellow will also have the opportunity to develop their own projects. Desired qualifications include: a PhD in psychology or related field; statistical expertise including multilevel modeling with nested and longitudinal designs, demonstrated evidence of research productivity and academic writing; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and a passion for novel research in the areas of identity threat, stereotyping and prejudice, and organizational mindset in education and/or organizational settings. Arizona State University, the Department of Psychology and REACH Institute in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the College of Health Solutions invites applications for a NIDA-funded T32 Postdoctoral Research Scholar training program focusing on closing the research-practice gap in drug abuse prevention.  Training is delivered through individually-tailored programs of coursework in drug abuse and implementation science and mentored research experience. Trainees select multiple mentors from a large and multidisciplinary faculty whose work includes preventive interventions with children, youth, and families in settings including schools, health care, community mental health settings, and family courts.
