Postdoctoral Traineeship in Genetic and Neurobehavioral Mechanisms of Addiction, its Risk Factors and Consequences   The University of Minnesota seeks postdoctoral fellows interested in conducting innovative multidisciplinary research in domains including behavioral neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, clinical psychology, and/or behavioral genetics. Fellows are supported by a T32 training grant funded by the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Drug Abuse. The purpose of the training program is to provide research and training opportunities to encourage the development of multidisciplinary skills within or across the above domains as they relate to drug use, addiction, and related psychopathology. Postdoctoral position (full-time) in Cognitive Psychology at the Institute for Experimental Psychology, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Germany (in the Laboratory of Ute J. Bayen, Ph.D.). The applicant should have a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field (e.g., Cognitive Science) and strong research interests and experience in experimental memory research, especially prospective memory, metamemory, episodic memory, formal models of memory, memory development in children, and/or memory and aging. The relationship of memory (esp. prospective memory) with sleep, emotion, or depression is also of interest. ABD will be considered.
