Assistant Professor, Psychology
The Department of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in the area of health, broadly defined, particularly as health intersects with diversity and inequality, including social determinants of health disparities (e.g., poverty, unequal access to care, racism). We welcome applicants from any sub discipline in psychology. The position begins August 2021.  A Ph.D. or Psy.D. is required, although ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2021 will be considered. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellence in instruction with teaching interests in Health Psychology and an interest in collaborating with colleagues to develop a diversity-based psychology course as part of a multidisciplinary certificate for the new university general education curriculum.
