The Psychology Department at Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for one and possibly two Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor positions (depending on qualifications) for the academic year 2021-2022. Our work focuses on (1) the development and impact of social and emotional skills among diverse populations, including education settings and organizations, and (2) the mechanisms by which social and emotional skills and training impact significant life outcomes. The Department of Psychology at Murray State University seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2021.  Candidates must be able to teach courses in biopsychology and must provide evidence of excellence in teaching, the ability to establish an active research program, and the interest and ability to involve undergraduate and master’s level graduate students in their research as well as direct undergraduate research projects and graduate theses.  Candidates must have a PhD in Psychology.  The PhD must be completed by time of appointment.  ABDs with a documented plan of completion by appointment date will be considered. While the area of expertise is open, we are specifically interested in candidates with teaching expertise and/or scholarly interests in social psychology, health psychology, and/or cultural psychology. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
