A part-time research assistant/data manager position is available at Pace University, Pleasantville Campus in Westchester.  We seek an organized, motivated, detail-oriented person to help curate and analyze data from a four-year National Institutes of Health funded study of COVID-19 related economic, social, and mental health impacts. The research assistant/data manager will work directly with the principal investigator, Anthony Mancini, and will be responsible for assisting with data cleaning, curating, merging, and analysis. The research assistant will also participate in ongoing research being conducted in the lab. Stony Brook University seeks a full-time postdoctoral fellow to conduct research with Drs. Roman Kotov (Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology) and H. Andrew Schwartz (Computer Science and Psychology). Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a position on a study to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools for assessment of PTSD and related psychopathology. It aims to recruit 1,000 participants with clinical PTSD symptoms to complete daily video diary and standard symptom assessments for 3 months (>600 enrolled already). These data are unprecedent in mental health research, allowing investigation of hypotheses that were previous untestable. AI models will be trained using language, speech, and facial expressions to detect and predict PTSD symptoms. The resulting models will be validated against standard clinical measures. The post-doctoral fellow will have access to outstanding research resources and mentorship. Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on Suffolk County Mental Health Project (SCMHP). SCMHP is the longest-running longitudinal study of individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychoses, and has produced over 100 publications to date. The study began in 1989 by recruiting a county-wide, first-admission cohort (N=628). At follow-up year 20, we added healthy controls and unaffected siblings. We are now launching 35-year follow-up. Stony Brook University seeks a full-time postdoctoral fellow to conduct research with Drs. Roman Kotov (Psychiatry), Daniel Klein (Psychology), and Brady Nelson (Psychology). Duration and start time are negotiable.   We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to collaborate on the Adolescent Development of Emotions and Personality Traits (ADEPT) project, a longitudinal investigation of a cohort of 550 early adolescent girls who are currently being followed-up for the 7th wave at age 26. This will enable us to model trajectories of internalizing and externalizing psychopathology and related mechanisms across 12 years of development. Extensive longitudinal data are already available on the first-onsets and course of various disorders, and a broad range of symptoms, personality traits, stressors, neural processes (ERP and MRI), and other biomarkers (polygenic risk scores, gene expression, and inflammation).
