Position Summary The Department of Psychology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Dr. Brian Feinstein’s lab. The overarching goals of Dr. Feinstein’s lab are: (1) to advance research on the role of stigma-related stress in the development and maintenance of mental and behavioral health problems among sexual and gender minority (SGM) populations across the lifespan; and (2) to develop and test interventions to improve SGM health. Department Overview The Post-Doctoral Fellow will join a large collaborative team studying the development and outcome of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in multiple already-available as well as growing data sets at the Center for ADHD Research at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland Oregon. The content focus is on longitudinal data and prediction of clinical outcome, using measures of cognition, emotion, neuropsychological function, personality, clinical symptoms (psychiatric and psychological symptoms), family functioning, and psychophysiology (e.g., respiratory sinus arrhythmia). OHIO STATE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP The Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research has an opening for a health-related postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of its Director, Janice Kiecolt-Glaser, PhD. Current funded projects include a longitudinal study of couples’ marital behavior and health that includes a focus on aging biomarkers, as well as a longitudinal study addressing the psychological and biological correlates of chronic stress in Alzheimer spousal caregivers and noncaregiving controls.
