Postdoctoral Traineeship in Genetic and Neurobehavioral Mechanisms of Addiction, its Risk Factors and Consequences   The University of Minnesota seeks postdoctoral fellows interested in conducting innovative multidisciplinary research in domains including behavioral neuroscience, clinical neuroscience, clinical psychology, and/or behavioral genetics. Fellows are supported by a T32 training grant funded by the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Drug Abuse. The purpose of the training program is to provide research and training opportunities to encourage the development of multidisciplinary skills within or across the above domains as they relate to drug use, addiction, and related psychopathology. Assistant Professor, Psychology
The Department of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in the area of health, broadly defined, particularly as health intersects with diversity and inequality, including social determinants of health disparities (e.g., poverty, unequal access to care, racism). We welcome applicants from any sub discipline in psychology. The position begins August 2021.  A Ph.D. or Psy.D. is required, although ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2021 will be considered. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellence in instruction with teaching interests in Health Psychology and an interest in collaborating with colleagues to develop a diversity-based psychology course as part of a multidisciplinary certificate for the new university general education curriculum. Candidates should have an active program of research capable of involving undergraduate and Master’s level graduate students.
