he Department of Psychology at Columbia University invites applications for an open rank faculty position in social neuroscience / social psychology to begin July 1, 2020. We seek applications from individuals conducting social neuroscience and social psychological research in areas that complement and build on the Department’s current areas of expertise, including social cognition, affect, intergroup relations, and inequality and social justice. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of research productivity and teaching commensurate with the position level. Individuals with multi-method expertise, ranging from behavioral methods to fMRI, modeling, lesion/patient studies, psychophysiology, genetics, etc. are especially encouraged to apply.
