The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track assistant professor positions to begin in the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, pending final budgetary approval. Although the area of specialization within psychology is open for both positions, we hope to fill one position with an applicant whose teaching and/or research experiences relate to cultural psychology, broadly conceived.  Applicants are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates who expect their degree by Fall 2025 will also be considered. The Department of Psychology at Yale University invites applications for an open rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) faculty position with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025, to be situated within the department’s Developmental Psychology area. We are particularly interested in scholars who add breadth to our existing developmental offerings while effectively integrating with our generally cognitive approach. In addition to traditional developmental topics and approaches, we will also consider researchers whose work addresses fundamental questions about cognition in other animals (e.g., non-human primates, canids, cephalopods, or insects). The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in social, cognitive, or developmental psychology.  Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered. The teaching load is 4 courses per semester and will include courses such as General Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of specialization.
