Assistant or Associate Professor in health psychology or behavioral health with a focus on health disparities
The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor in health psychology or behavioral health with a focus on health disparities. The person filling this position will be a faculty member in the Department of Psychology but will also work with a multidisciplinary research team focused on health disparities in and beyond Nevada. He/she will be expected to maintain a high-quality, fundable research program in coordination with the Health for Nevada research team, mentor graduate students, teach, and participate in faculty governance. The Department of Psychology has 29 full time faculty members with an APA-accredited clinical psychology Ph.D. program and an experimental Ph.D. program with cognitive, developmental, neuroscience, and quantitative/experimental areas of study. Salary is competitive, and the position is contingent upon funding.
