Applicants with i) a strong quantitative background in models of cognitive architecture, including SEM and latent variable models; ii) a good understanding of machine learning techniques; and iii) strong programming skills (preferably Python and R languages) are called to participate in an interdisciplinary project aimed at refining existing mental ontologies and cognitive architectures on the basis of neuroimaging data in healthy human adults (with a particular emphasis on cognitive ability and personality). The position will involve analysis of large-sample databases, including behavioral data and fMRI data, using tools from quantitative psychology, causal discovery, and machine learning. Experience with fMRI data analysis is a plus. Appointment is contingent upon completion of a PhD and relevant research experience that includes the tools and topics listed above. Salary is commensurate with experience. The position is available immediately and will run for a period of up to five-years.
