The Department of Psychology at Amherst College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor from candidates with a Ph.D. in social psychology, beginning July 1, 2027. This appointment is ideal for candidates with a strong commitment to teaching and an active research program. The successful candidate will be able to develop and teach courses that include introductory psychology, statistics, social psychology, and an advanced seminar; will supervise honors projects; and will contribute to the overall academic environment of the psychology department and the college. The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2024-25 academic year (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025). The area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to applicants with expertise in social, cognitive, or developmental psychology.  Applicants should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in psychology or a related field, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered. For this call, our particular focus is on scholars in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, as well as Indigenous scholars in any country. The Fellow will join an innovative, collaborative, and supportive editorial team as an Associate Editor for 12 months, beginning on Jan. 1, 2023. The position includes an honorarium stipend of $2,500 USD.
