The interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Butler University (Indianapolis, IN) invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position beginning August 2027. We seek a colleague who values interdisciplinary approaches to neuroscience, has a demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices, and is prepared to engage in collaborative research with undergraduate students . The Departments of Psychological Science and Neuroscience seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to teaching and the ability to establish an active research program that involves undergraduates. The position (75% appointment in Psychological Science and 25% appointment in Neuroscience) will begin in July 2027. The candidate is expected to teach two courses per semester, in addition to supervising senior theses. Courses may include introductory psychology and/or human neuroscience, as well as courses (elective, lab, or seminar) in the candidate’s area of research expertise.
