The Departments of Psychological Science and Neuroscience seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to teaching and the ability to establish an active research program that involves undergraduates. The position (75% appointment in Psychological Science and 25% appointment in Neuroscience) will begin in July 2027.
The candidate is expected to teach two courses per semester, in addition to supervising senior theses. Courses may include introductory psychology and/or human neuroscience, as well as courses (elective, lab, or seminar) in the candidate’s area of research expertise. The successful candidate will have a productive research program examining the neural and/or physiological mechanisms of psychological phenomena.
